Immersion is that holiday feeling: the moment a few days in when you finally stop checking your phone and properly arrive. Gentle Habits made it as an ode to being here, in the now. Sweet orange opens bright, a soft smokiness comes through from gurjun balsam (from a tree native to Indonesia, subtly sweet and lightly woody), and it all settles into a warm base of amber and cedarwood.
Gentle Habits is an Australian label from Yamba, NSW, and they hand-dip every stick in Victoria with Australian-blended essential oils. There are 60 sticks in the box, around 20 hours of slow moments. It's one I'd happily give to anyone who needs reminding to slow down, and it's lovely paired with the matching Immersion perfume oil or an amber glass holder.
