The straps are thick, adjustable cotton, so it sits comfortably whether it's you carrying it or someone taller. Inside, a canvas pocket with a key clip keeps your car keys somewhere you'll actually find them again, plus a large internal mesh pocket and two outer ones for the things you want without digging — sunscreen, water bottles, that sort of thing. When you're not carrying a full load, press studs on each side cinch it down so it doesn't sit half-empty and shapeless on your back.
