Garden to Table by Robert Gordon was made for the people who grow their own veg, collect the eggs and like a kitchen that looks lived in. It’s a high-fired stoneware range in a soft, speckled glaze — and because the clay carries natural iron flecks, you’ll sometimes see a little patch of red or orange where the iron met the kiln. That’s the pottery doing what pottery does, not a fault, and it’s why no two pieces are the same. These are the everyday pieces I reach for most; any one of them makes a thoughtful housewarming gift, and the butter bell is a quiet favourite.
